From last few year many of the user criticize Apple'According to them Apple mac-book support only their own software and lock down to their software While this is not a well advertised feature, it is actually there. Boot Camp has been around since 2006 and has been included with OS X since 2007 with the release of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
By using this Boot camp you are able to run Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 on Macbooks. It is also pointed out by zdnet that all recent models which is refreshed by Apple will not support older operating system.Some refreshed models are Macbook Pro’s and Macbook Air

This shows that Book Camp will support 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, or Windows 7 Ultimate. So users who are running Windows XP or Vista in their Mac and wondering of upgrading new notebooks, then you have to upgrade to Windows 7 as well.Above snapshot also show the requirement for running boot camp .
