Twitter for Mac is one of awesome application which is introduced by Mac App Store.After the launch, Twitter for mac is updated twice, and for the both time the icon of the application is changed.So here is the easy way which help you to change the icon back to whichever you like best.
To change the icon back you have to follow simple and easy steps shown below :
1.First of all search Twitter for Mac in the Finder ,you can make that thing happen by either looking for it yourself (reside in [Your name]/Applications) or it can also done by right- or Control-clicking on Twitter in your Dock and choosing Options > Show in Finder.
2.When you have located the application, then right-click on the icon and choose Show Package Contents which help you to look inside the application bundle to find the files which are needs to run.
3.Next,You have to do is navigate into the Contents folder, and after that find the Resources folder. When you done this You’ll see three icons files which are the 3D one which is from the latest update and two others.
4.Now drag the three files out on your Desktop. And then Rename the 3D icon to Icon1.icns and then rename the icon you want to use as Icon.icns.
Note:If you try to change the files while they’re still in the application bundle, it won’t work
5.Now drag the renamed icons back into the Resources folder. You’ll have to click “Authenticate” and type your password in order to overwrite the existing files.
6.Last thing which you have to do is drag Twitter out of the Dock and relaunch the application. Your new/old icon should now show up and you're done.
